MANIFESTING: HOW & WHEN TO LET GO

by | Apr 19, 2019 | my thoughts

I wanna share with you a big, big truth I recently learned that has helped me boost my manifesting power:

Taking action can slow down your manifesting

It can!

Unless you’re taking action from a place of excitement, inspiration and joy, “doing” does very little to move you forward.

When you’re not feeling well, the best thing you can do is focus on something else and recalibrate your emotions. Let go of what you want for a moment.

Let go of your expectations, your resistance and the pressure you put on yourself.

You can do that pretty easily, here are some tips.

1. TAKE A LONG WALK

I’ve talked about this before (click here to read) because talking long walks has been a powerful and simple way for me to stabilize my energy.

Whenever I’m feeling anxious about my goals, the best thing I can do is to go for a loooooong walk. Walking grounds me and soothes my soul; I listen to music, take deep breaths, listen to the birds and look at the sky.

We are spirits in a PHYSICAL BODY: we need to move.

When we move, we become more balanced and we feel more alive because we are now sensitive to what’s around us. Moving gives our minds space to rest because in those moments we get to experience life with all of our senses.

Also, it is proved by many studies that breathing makes you feel better, and you will naturally breathe better if you move!

2. SOCIALIZE

To me, letting go means to have fun.

So when I notice that I’m getting into the “struggle mode” I make space in my calendar to do things that make me happy!

Calling my friends, going out with my boyfriend or taking a dance class works beautifully for me.

“Letting go” doesn’t mean to let go of your goals. It means to let go of the anxiety to make them happen.

So next time you’re feeling anxious about your manifesting, call a friend! go out!

3. REST TO MANIFEST

Resting is especially important for women during the premenstrual and menstrual phases because we’re naturally wired to retreat ourselves from the “doing” during these 6-14 days.

It sounds cliché, but it’s pretty natural to want to stay in bed and eat chocolate and watch romantic movies at least once a month.

Instead of pushing yourself to do more, use this time to journal, to plan, to re-connect with your goals on an emotional level.

Write your feelings down, meditate and figure out what’s working and what needs to change. What are the things that you don’t want to do anymore? Is there anything that needs to go?

You will have more energy to create and do in the next couple of weeks, but right now, be slow, be gentle, be soft.

Trust that resting is part of the manifesting process. You CAN slow down and still get what you want!
